There are a number of lip injections that can be used on, in or around the lips. There are three basic treatment effects for the lips. They are, Lip Pout, Lip Volume and Lip Shape.

To give a pout effect the upper border of the lip is treated. Usually a small amount of lip injection is needed. The end effect is that the upper lip appears to have increased in volume to give a fuller voluptuous look while still achieving a pout. In short the lips look like they are in the first stages of a kiss. Restylane or Juvaderm are the recommended products.

To add volume or to augment the lips the body of the upper and or lower lips may need to be treated. The best products for this is a lip injection specially made for lip tissue so although normal Restylane, Perlane and other Dermal fillers can be used, specifically made lip fillers such as Restylane Lipp or Teosyal Kiss give much better results and indeed longer lasting results.

To correct any asymmetry/ shape or uneven lips the body of the lip itself may need to be treated. Your practitioner may be able to correct shape by treating just the border along the line of the lip.

The most successful products used for lip enhancement are (Restylane) for out side the body of the lip and Teosyal Kiss for the body of the lip (The actual lip tissue)
